How to: Fix DAX Errors

When a salesperson is unable to synchronize, and a BDE error appears on the Server.
May present upon upgrading the server to Windows 10, also shows as Catastrophic Failure on the salesperson PC when attempting to synchronize.
  • Reinstall SynchroServer on the Server machine. Download the latest version from the Downloads page
  • Double check GUID in Borland Socket Server (must be running)Check port forwarding on the router
  • Test logging in (address: localhost) on the server
  • Re-index / Reread datafiles on server PC and salesperson PC
  • Reboot server PC
  • Delete the contents of PRIV and PRIV2 in the local spartner directory on the server PC (C:\spartner\PRIV\)
