Understand how Printer redirection works for SalesPartner in Azure-RemoteApp and RDP environments. When you print reports / letters from SalesPartner-Cloud, Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol uses Printer Redirection to provide your local printer properties and services. SalesPartner also uses your default printer to render templates - this is important for printing A3 reports. To ensure that your A3 reports are rendered correctly you should check that your default printer supports A3 page layouts. You can check your default printer in Control Panel (All Items) > Devices and Printers Your default printer shows the tick icon. Right click on printers for more options. When you print a report from SalesPartner-Cloud, your default printer will appear. Your printers will be listed in the drop down list, and will show redirected beside their description. Click Properties to show your printer options. It sometimes takes a second or two to bring up the Properties window. When you click OK to print the document, it can take longer than usual - sometimes up to 30 seconds, for your print job to arrive at your on-premise printer. The time taken can depend on your network speed and the size of the print job file, and is increased for templates such as magazines which typically contain numerous images within the report. The print job must travel from the datacenter where SalesPartner-Cloud is hosted, through the internet to your local printer. You can check that your print job is pending in your System Tray.
