Part 1. install RemoteApp
To install RemoteApp you'll need:
- A Connection URL,
- User credentials.
Step 1. Enter your Connection URL in Control Panel
Open Windows Control Panel.
In Windows 10 or 8.1 click Start and type 'Control Panel' to search. Open Control Panel.
In Control Panel, drop down the View by menu and select Large icons.
Open RemoteApp and Desktop Connections.
Click Access RemoteApp and desktops
Enter your connection URL.
Enter your Username / Email and Password.
Select Remember me to save your credentials.
Wait for the connection resources to load (up to 30 seconds).
When complete, click Finish.
Step 2. Create Start Menu and Desktop Shortcuts
Click View resources.
Right Click on each application you wish to create a shortcut for and
- Pin to Start
- Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
Tip: Create a shortcut for the Close-SalesPartner tool. You can double click Close-SalesPartner to exit SalesPartner if the application has frozen.
