How to: Sync Reports
Synchronize custom reports from your office server into a local salesperson copy or branch office workstation.
In SalesPartner, open Synchronize and click Advanced
Click Log In
Click Get Reports
Select your desired report template and click Get Report
You will be prompted to Save the report template file into your custom SalesPartner reports folder - Click Save
The template should only take a couple of seconds to transfer, however there is no completed confirmation screen. If you click on another report in the list, you'll see that the template which you synchronized is now yellow.
Colours explained: Red = Selected, Yellow = Retrieved, Pink = Available
Once you have completed the steps above, the custom report template will be available to use in SalesPartner.
Note: Custom reports include path prefixes to ensure that applicable templates are only available in the correct Report Tab in SalesPartner. For example, if you synchronize a custom activity report template, that template will only be available in the custom folder, under the Activity tab:
To locate the custom report template:
- Navigate to the correct reports tab, for example: Activity
- Click Custom
- Double click on the template name to generate the report
Syncing Custom Letter Templates
To synchronize custom letter templates, follow the same steps but click Get Letters after you log in to your office's Synchro-Server.
