Zoom is a popular free online meeting system with cross platform apps to support iOS, Android, or Browser based access. It's easy to sign-in using your email, Gmail or Facebook account for authentication. When you host a meeting you can email, txt, or message your meeting URL to your participants who can join without creating their own accounts. The time and group limits for the basic free package are generous (40 minutes per meeting, up to 100 participants), and the app performance is impressive with minimal lag or freezing. The audio is clear and works well over speakers or headsets. The app will intelligently switch focus to the current speaker and compress their audio for signal clarity. The app is optimized to work well on tablets and smartphones as well as notebook or desktop PCs.

Question: How do I merge three duplicate contacts into a a single contact? Solution: In Contacts you can use Combine Contacts under advanced tools to merge duplicate records into one. Open Contacts and select the contacts you wish to merge. Click Tools, Advanced Tools, Combine Contacts. Select the primary contact which the other contacts will be merged into. In this example I've selected the contact that has additional contact details. Click Yes when prompted then you can review the log. Note that activity records are preserved and vendor links where applicable are retained to prevent orphaned listings. The activity records from the deleted contacts are shifted into the primary contact's journal. Duplicate contacts may be visible to admins on a centralised instance if a contact has been entered by multiple salespeople. For example if an office is running SalesPartner-Cloud, agents may have client overlap through entering open home visitors.

When you are sending group SMS messages the progress, delay timer, and sent/failure counts are displayed in a single window. Fixed an error which could appear when you closed SalesPartner after editing a listing's details during the session. Added support for calling via Android HTTP2Phone app from SalesPartner. This Hot-desk ready feature lets you dial SalesPartner contacts hands-free from your PC. Requirements: HTTP2Phone must be installed on your Android mobile, and either open or running in the background. Your phone must be connected to the same WiFi network as your PC, in order to receive instructions. In Contact Entry, Details, click on the Phone icon and select Call Using: HTTP2Phone. Under Settings, check that the IP address matches the address shown in the HTTP2Phone app on your device. Click Call to dial the number.
HTTP2Phone is a proprietary Android app developed to relay SMS text messages from your PC via SalesPartner. SMS is an effective communication vector with advantages over telemarketing and email.
How it works Your contacts are entered into SalesPartner on your PC. Your Android mobile must be connected to the same WiFi network as your PC so that your phone can receive the instructions from your computer. When you open HTTP2Phone on your mobile, you'll see your device's unique IP address. This address is entered in SalesPartner on your PC so it knows where to send the commands. Part 1: Sending a message to one person Ensure your phone is connected to the same WiFi network as your PC. This is essential for the phone to receive instructions from SalesPartner. Open HTTP2Phone on your phone and note the phone's IP address. Normally it will be similar to 192.168.1.1:8080. If your phone's IP address is 0.0.0.0:8080, that means your phone is not connected to WiFi. In SalesPartner, open Contact Entry and enter yourself as a contact. Click Send SMS. Under Send Via... select SMS Sender then under Android Settings ensure the IP matches the IP address shown in your phone. The port number 8080 is specified underneath the IP address. Enter a test message in the lower right panel then click Send to This Contact. SalesPartner will remember your phone's IP address for future sessions but it may change from time to time depending on the number of devices in your network. The recipient's activity is automatically recorded with the message saved in the description field.
