In an admin instance of SalesPartner an operator entered commissions into OfficePartner and noticed that a salesperson's name had been replaced with the name of another person. Further investigation revealed that the contact in question (along with several other contacts) shared the same LinkCode as the salesperson. Contact LinkCodes are designed to be unique. To resolve this issue, we filtered all the contacts who carried the same LinkCode as the agent. Then we deleted their LinkCodes so that new unique LinkCodes could be assigned via Contacts > Tools > Advanced > Give Code.

In this walk-through we're going to edit the script for the New Listing template in Listing Entry > Reports > DL Cards tab. We'll also manually edit it the open home script to show two open home times. Start from the Standard reports screen. Create a custom template for editing by selecting the New Listing thumbnail then click Copy to Custom and enter a file name like Geoffs DL Card with dual open home times. SalesPartner will navigate to the Custom reports folder and your new template will be selected ready for you to click Edit. In the editing screen under View > Zoom, select Default size. The script and the open home description are located inside a single RichText element. Double click into the element to open the RichText editor. In the editor you can replace the script with your own text. Highlight the entire open home expression as pictured and type in your open home times manually. Likewise for the promotional message - you can replace this with your own content. Click OK then Preview and Save your custom DL card template. Tip: To make some of your RichText bold, first write out your message then select your existing written text and click on the B icon inside the RichText editor. Note: By default custom report templates will prompt you to enter a heading even if a heading is not supported. You can disable the header prompt by selecting the template and opening Tools then unchecking Prompt for Heading.
In version 14, when you prepare a report via Contacts, the Follow-up plus activity template supports colour coded priority. Where an activity has been assigned a priority of medium, high, or critical, the description text background colour is rendered accordingly. This feature makes it easier to highlight important notes or events for future reference.
If your office holds a casual subscription for Realestate.co.nz instead of an unlimited subscription, uploaded listings must be manually activated via http://my.realestate.co.nz/. You'll need to know your office login and password in order to sign in to your control panel. When you upload a listing to Realestate.co.nz from SalesPartner, the listing will appear in your portal where you can then publish it so that it becomes live or active on the realestate.co.nz website. For casual subscribers listings do not publish automatically as they do for unlimited subscribers. The approximate time-frame for the upload schedule is this:
If an urgent change is required, then listing details including open home times and photos can be managed manually via my.realestate.co.nz. Adobe Flash may need to be enabled for procedures such as uploading photos. Mozilla Firefox is our recommended browser for using my.realestate.co.nz.
If you import REINZ sales statistics into SalesPartner for your comparable market reports, we're making it easier for you to add photos of sold properties. In Gallery, double click into an REINZ sourced sale record. At the bottom of the sale window, click into Google Maps. Open the StreetView image of the property by clicking on the photo in Google Maps. Now we'll snip a photo of the image using the Windows keyboard shortcut: Windows + Shift + S. When you press Windows + Shift + S, the cropping tools appear and you are ready to left click and drag your mouse diagonally across the area you wish to snip. Once you release the left mouse button, the image can be pasted into SalesPartner. In SalesPartner, right click and paste the image into the main picture panel. Repeat these steps for your REINZ comparable sales. Then you can produce a picture CMA in SalesPartner. In Reports under the CMA tab, the Photo CMA is designed for REINZ sales with one photo. Up to five sales are displayed per page. Sales averages are calculated in the report footer.
