Follow these steps to find and import expiring foreign listings into SalesPartner from Trade Me Property. Open SalesPartner, More, Import Data, Trade Me, Multiple Listings. Open the Suburb ID tab and click on the Trade Me icon to lookup your suburb. Optional: tick Adjacent Suburbs to include results from neighbouring areas. Important: Check that Use my Trade Me Account is ticked. Click Find Listings and enter your Trade Me credentials to allow SalesPartner to use the Trade Me API when prompted. Results are displayed newest first so scroll to the bottom of the list to find old / potentially expiring listings. Select listings using left-click and the Ctrl key, or hold Shift and tap the up/down cursor arrow. Click Download Selected to continue. When the download has completed click Yes to Show these listings in the Gallery. Note: In Gallery, use the column tools menu to enable the Expiry Date column. Drag and drop column headers to shuffle the order. Click on the column headers to adjust the sort order for Expiry Date / Listed Date. The listing expiry date is recorded in the Listing tab in Listing Entry. This is a suggested date only, automatically calculated by adding 90 days onto the property's listed date. Prospecting Click into the envelope to merge a template letter to the owner of a foreign listing. The template is designed to fit a window DL envelope. You can print and deliver or post the letter. Tip: Merge multiple vendor letters at once via the Gallery. Click All and open the envelope to access the letter templates. You can edit and save personalised merged letters on the fly.
