In this walk-through we'll export a CSV file of commercial sales statistics from reinz.co.nz and import them into SalesPartner for use in Comparable Market Analysis reporting. 1. Export a CSV of commercial sales Log into https://reinz.co.nz/ Open the Statistics Portal Open Classic Search. Under the Classic tab, select a Region and Council if applicable. Under the Categories menu expand the Residential and Rural options using the arrows on the right then Toggle All to exclude listings from those categories. Expand the Commercial options and click Toggle All to include commercial listings in your search results. Under Show | Hide Columns, check that all columns are set to shown. Click on the Date tab to adjust the date range (12 months by default). Under Export As... click as CSV. Note: Do not open the downloaded CSV in Excel - this can cause formatting errors to occur. 2. Import the sales CSV into SalesPartner Open SalesPartner, More, Import Data, click REINZ Import Sales Stats (CSV) Look for the downloaded REINZ statistics CSV file in your Downloads folder, and click Open. Click Begin (leave the Category setting on Residential because the layout is the same). 3. Produce a CMA Open SalesPartner, Gallery, Sales tab. Filter as desired by Floor area and Suburb. Optional: follow this guide to add photos to your sales records: Select comparable sales and press Ctrl+P to open Print Reports. Double click or right-click Open to view the Photo CMA template. The Photo CMA template calculates the Floor price per square meter automatically. You can email, print, or save the comparable sales report as a PDF using the top menu options.
